Despite not personally knowing any of his new teammates, Pepe admitted that his idol has always been goalkeeper Iker Casillas, who he believes is the perfect role model. “I've liked for a long time. He's been a player I have always admired. He's great. I have always followed him throughout my own career and I hope to be as successful as he has been with Real Madrid.”
